Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has been left in tears over a sweet gesture from her senior colleague, Mercy Johnson.
In a video she shared on Instagram, the legendary actress surprised her with a brand-new electronic for her new home in Abuja.
Daniels revealed that she had asked Johnson for a TV for her new home in Abuja, and she had delivered in grand style. An emotional Daniels affirmed her love and loyalty to Johnson.

Mercy Johnson and Regina Daniels have been thick as thieves for a long time now. Their relationship has transcended beyond the movie screen, with both actresses building a solid relationship outside movie sets.
Last year, Johnson had written an emotional note to Daniels, revealing that she always gets overwhelmed and emotional when she has to talk about her. She stated that Regina and her four kids own her heart, and declared Daniels as her own flesh and blood.
In a 2024 birthday message to Daniels, Mercy described her as her very own child, and that she has prayed for her a lot for her birthday. The legendary actress gushed over Regina, citing that she was her source of pride and that she deserved to enjoy a fun-filled day.
During Mercy’s birthday in August, 2025, Daniels had penned an emotional note to her, stating that the depth of love they share remains undeniable, especially knowing how deeply she loves her. Daniels revealed that if she could choose one word to describe Johnson, it would be that she was amazing, a mother, a wife and above all, a listener.
Regina had melted hearts when she defended Mercy against Angela Okorie. Slamming her senior colleague, Daniels stated that Angela was mad as she made her know that she and Johnson don’t forgive easily.
Recall that Mercy and Regina once fell out allegedly over Regina’ marriage. According to sources, Mercy allegedly tried to advise her to hold on a bit and build her career more before moving on to start a family as she was still a teenager. The advice reportedly didn’t go down well with the Delta-born actress who became angry at Mercy and decided to withdraw a little bit.
However, the two reconciled in 2022, and since then, they have been pouring love on each other.
