Nollywood actress Rita Dominic is celebrating her 51st birthday today, July 12th.
Taking to her Instagram page to share a video of her oozing glamour, she expressed gratitude for another year, praising her Maker for his enormous blessings in her life.

Last year, Dominic had hit the 50th floor. To mark her huge milestone, the wife of Fidelis Anosike shared angelic photos of herself in white as she wished herself a happy birthday.
Celebrating her, Ini Edo hailed her as the cheerleader of the vampires association and hubby to the girlies. She appreciated Rita for being true to herself and praised her for her good-heartedness and sweetness in company.
To celebrate her milestone, she threw a party in London. Some of her colleagues, including Genevieve Nnaji, had turned up for the birthday. In a viral clip, Rita was captured sitting on Genevieve’s lap, who held tightly to her from behind.
While celebrating her birthday, an X user slammed the light-skinned actress for showing off her curves, calling her too old for such poses and pictures. Rita clapped back, telling him to cry more.
Last year, Rita reflected on her journey in Nollywood with Genevieve. She noted how they were just passionate girls with a dream, and had no idea the incredible journey ahead or how the industry would grow to touch the world. Rita added that looking around and seeing how far they have come filled her heart with pride.
In a 2024 interview, Rita had revealed why she took a break from acting at some point to become a caregiver in London. The movie star, explained that she was going through a dark period and had fallen out with her friends, whom she considered family. As such, she took a break from the industry because she needed to get out and leave that space for a minute.
In a different interview with Joy997fm Ghana, Dominic revealed that a group of persuasive marketers had banned her from featuring in Nollywood movies. Shee added that she stopped appearing at movie locations because she tried to bring up a new development in the industry.
The light-skinned movie star revealed why she married late, which she stated was for the right reasons and not societal pressure. Rita admitted that though she met a lot of good men, they weren’t compatible and she wasn’t one to force things when it isn’t working.
