A Nigerian man’s post detailing what he encountered while retuning from work has grabbed attention online.
In a now-viral post on X, the man shared that while returning from work at 5 pm, there was heavy traffic with car horns honking.
Man Speaks Out
Amid the traffic, an elderly man, likely in his 70s, wearing a brown kaftan with shorts and a knitted cap, appeared on the road.
According to the man with the X handle, @the-beardedsina, what left him astonished and heartbroken was the man marketing a recently released cheese ball on the road.
Meanwhile, the elderly man’s joints appeared deformed and he swayed back and forth in pain, clearly uncomfortable.
Man Seeks Clarity
Seeking clarity over the man’s situation he inquired, “How can a man in his 70s be hawking Cheese balls on the road.
This was a man that should be in his house enjoying some pension and elderly care funds to take care of him. What could have happened?. What was the backup story ?”.
As a little path was cleared by the cars, he drove on with sadness in his heart as he stared at the aged man.
” I drove, but for some reasons, a cloak of sadness filled my heart”,He added.
