‘Stop the Hate’ — Naira Marley Speaks on Sam Larry’s Recovery

Nigerian singer Naira Marley has appealed to Nigerians to pray for music promoter Sam Larry, who is currently receiving treatment following a recent road accident, instead of celebrating or spreading hateful comments online.

Speaking during an Instagram Live session, the Marlian Music boss became emotional as he addressed the public reaction to the accident, expressing gratitude that Sam Larry survived the crash.

“Sam Larry is my brother, and he’s okay. He’s receiving treatment, and we’re praying for a quick recovery. Y’all should be praying for his recovery, not spreading hate,” he said.

Naira Marley lamented that many people appeared disappointed that Sam Larry survived the accident, adding that the persistent online criticism directed at both of them has been difficult to deal with.

The singer also maintained that he and Sam Larry are innocent of the allegations often levelled against them, saying he believes many Nigerians now want to see them fail despite their contributions to the music industry.

He concluded by urging Nigerians to choose compassion over hate and continue praying for Sam Larry’s full recovery.
