Just a day ago, Lateef and Bimpe shared BTS photos from their triplets’ recent photoshoot. According to the parents, they struggled to get their boys’ attention as the trio all wanted different things.
In an online video, Mo Bimpe was seen shedding tears as her husband gave their triplets their first haircut. In the clip, Bimpe was holding one of the triplets as Lateef struggled to collect the baby from her. The movie star, who wasn’t ready to let go, kept begging him not to cut their hair.
Kemi Filani reported in May that the couple had announced the birth of their triplet boys. Lateef shared a video of Bimpe holding their ultrasound, saying that God had given him more than he had prayed for, as his wife is now a mother of three boys.
On May 7th, the couple held a low-key naming ceremony at their residence in Lekki, Lagos. The couple kept things low-key and invited only close friends and family. Spotted at the ceremony were Jide Awobona, Ibrahim Yekini ‘Itele’ and his wife, and Omowunmi Dada.
At the ceremony, Lateef and Bimpe chose Omowunmi Dada as the godmother of their triplets and Ibrahim Yekini as the godfather. Omowunmi shared the news on her Instagram story, including clips from the naming.
Following the naming ceremony, Lateef and Bimpe released a statement announcing their triplets’ names: Rahman, Raheem, and Rakeeb. He announced that in July, a big celebration and Thanksgiving party will be held for everyone to witness God’s goodness.
During Femi Adebayo’s visit to Lateef and Bimpe, Lateef jokingly said he still wants more kids, but Bimpe shut it down, saying she’s stopping at four and wants a girl child.
Last month, the couple celebrated their triplets’ 2-month birthday. Sharing a cute video of the babies, they noted how it has been two months of tiny yawns, peaceful naps, warm cuddles, and countless reasons to thank Allah.
On Children’s Day, Bimpe shared a video of herself and her husband, Lateef Adedimeji, with their babies. She said watching them grow has been the sweetest adventure. According to Bimpe, the giggles, cuddles, little milestones, and every milestone feel like magic.
The birth of their triplets is undoubtedly a good news as the couple have been bullied for not having a child.
In an interview with Morayo Afolabi, Lateef opened up about his wife’s pregnancy journey, revealing that he was shocked when he learnt they were expecting triplets; he had mixed feelings.
When asked whether he had stayed back for the babies’ delivery, Lateef said he hadn’t; he had been with her throughout. He said he was right there, saw it happen, and gave kudos to the woman.
