VIDEO: Sunday Dare Visits Rescued Oyo Schoolchildren, Teachers At LAUTECH Teaching Hospital

Presidential spokesman Sunday Dare has visited the rescued Oyo schoolchildren and teachers at the LAUTECH Teaching Hospital in Ogbomoso.

Dare, who made the rounds with the Chief Medical Director of the hospital, Olawale Olakulehin, expressed thanks to the security forces and the Federal Government for ensuring their freedom.

He said the visit was to check in on the people who were recently rescued.

“I also engaged with the parents, relatives, and families of the rescued. Twenty-five of the 43 were released in the evening hours of Tuesday from the Lautech teaching hospital. I reinstated the commitment of President Bola Tinubu to ending the insecurity challenge in the country,” he wrote in a post on his X account about the Tuesday visit. “I also made a PERSONAL donation to support transport logistics for each of the victims’ families upon discharge.”

The victims were rescued a few days back after 56 days in captivity. They were abducted from their schools in the Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State.
