
A member of the House of Representatives representing Ijesa-North Federal Constituency, Hon. Oluwole Oke, has been appointed director-general for the Osun 2026 governorship campaign committee b y the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The five-term Rep member, who joined the APC from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), in May 2025, told Governor Ademola Adeleke to start packing and be ready to leave Government House.
Hon. Oke was announced alongside other director-generals for the three senatorial districts, Tuesday.
They include Prince Adebayo Adeleke as director-general for Osun Central Senatorial District; Prince Dotun Babayemi for Osun West Senatorial District; and Hon. Thomas Ogungbangbe for Osun East Senatorial District.
Speaking after his appointment, Hon. Oke expressed gratitude to party leadership and members for the confidence reposed in him.
He said the APC had begun preparations for what he described as victory for the party in the forthcoming election.
He also issued what he termed a “quit-notice” to governor Adeleke.
