Kebbi: Police arrest 10 suspects over businessman’s murder

 The Kebbi state Police command has arrested 10 suspects in the murder case of a business man in Badariya area of Birnin Kebbi, the state capital.

In a statement Wednesday, the Police Public Relations Officer, Superintendent of Police, Bashir Usman, said, the command wishes to give an update on the tragic incident that occurred on 13th March, 2026, which resulted in the death of Sufiyanu Garba and the abduction of his wife.

“The command strongly condemns the heinous act and assures residents of its unwavering commitment to the protection of lives and property.

“Following sustained investigative efforts, the abducted victim, Zainab Mohammad, has been safely reunited with her family.

“The progress recorded was achieved through well-coordinated effort by operatives of the State Intelligence Department, SID, in collaboration with the Anti-Kidnapping Unit of the State Criminal Investigation Department, SCID, leveraging credible intelligence and technical support”,

“Acting on credible intelligence and technical analysis, the Police arrested the following suspects in connection with the case:  Zakariya Abubakar Diggi, Joseph Dahali Wanda, Sanda Alhaji, Mamman Abubakar Manu, Aisha Manu, Saudatu Abubakar, Abubakar Muhammad, Betuwa Muhammad, Abdullahi Umaru, and Ja’I Garba.
