A wave of enthusiasm and political excitement swept through Agege StatebConstituency I as Hon. Remi Bello formally declared his intention to contest for a seat in the Lagos State House of Assembly ahead of the forthcoming elections, reports thegazellenews.com.
LThe declaration event witnessed a massive turnout of party faithful, community leaders, youths, market men and women, as well as key stakeholders across the constituency, all gathered to show solidarity and support.
Addressing the jubilant crowd, Hon. Highlighting key components of his manifesto, Hon. Bello placed strong emphasis on youth empowerment, describing it as a cornerstone for sustainable development. He outlined plans to create opportunities for skills acquisition, entrepreneurship support, and capacity building programs aimed at equipping young people with the tools needed to thrive in a competitive economy.
In addition, he pledged to deliver quality and effective representation that would give the people of Agege Constituency I a stronger voice in legislative matters. He assured constituents of his commitment to advocating policies that will improve infrastructure, enhance social welfare, and promote inclusive growth across all communities.
Hon. Bello also acknowledged the remarkable achievements of Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa, noting that he is fully aware of the enormous responsibility ahead. He described the role as “a big shoe to fill,” while affirming his readiness to build on the solid foundation already laid by the Speaker.
“I am stepping into a role that has been defined by excellence, strong leadership, and visible impact. While I recognize the weight of this responsibility, I am prepared to not only sustain these achievements but to expand them for the benefit of our people,” he stated.
