2027: Amaechi speaks on dumping ADC after Atiku wins primaries

Former Governor of Rivers State, Rotimi Amaechi, has insisted he is still a member of the African Democratic Congess, ADC.

Amaechi was speaking with media entrepreneur, Chude Jideonwo, in his first interview after losing the presidential primaries to former vice-president, Atiku Abubakar.

He insisted that the process was flawed amid the controversy that trailed the conduct of the primaries.

Amaechi also addressed the growing political speculation surrounding his future, his relationship with key political figures, and rumours about a possible vice-presidential ticket.

He said “I stand by what I said about ‘concocted results’.

“But I am still a member of ADC. No one has asked me to be VP.”
