Veteran Nollywood actor Chiwetalu Agu has shared a deep and powerful message about life, advising people against discouraging others from pursuing their dreams simply because of personal disappointments or bad experiences.
According to the actor, failure in marriage, business, church or career should not be used as a reason to stop others from trying, as different people have different journeys and outcomes.
“Don’t discourage anybody just because you had a bad experience. Just because it didn’t work for you doesn’t mean it won’t work for another person. Failure is personal, not universal,” he said.
Chiwetalu Agu also spoke about marriage and religion, stressing that one person’s failed experience should not become another person’s limitation.
He further encouraged people not to give up after setbacks, noting that grace differs and what destroys one person may eventually build another.
“Never let someone else’s experience stop you from pursuing your goals. What destroyed one person may build another. Never use your pain to kill another person’s dream,” he added.
The veteran actor added that many people unknowingly project their fears, disappointments and failures onto others instead of allowing them to learn and grow through their own experiences.
He urged Nigerians to focus more on encouraging and supporting one another rather than spreading negativity based on personal setbacks.
