For Now Wike is FCT Minister, I Don’t See Him As The Next Minister by 2027, Peter Obi Is Coming–Igwe

A representative from the NDC, Ifeanyi Igwe, stated that he does not think the current Minister for the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, will keep his role following the 2027 general elections.…....

In a discussion on Channels Television, Igwe mentioned that the NDC believes it is essential for Nigeria to seek a new path and new leadership in 2027. He voiced strong backing for Peter Obi, calling him the leader who can transform the country’s political landscape.

Igwe pointed out that a growing number of Nigerians are increasingly eager to support leaders they trust can enhance the economy and governance. He noted that Obi’s recognition throughout the nation could significantly influence the upcoming presidential race.

Although he remarked on Wike’s prospects, Igwe stated he is prepared to collaborate with whoever is appointed as FCT minister after 2027. He clarified that unity among political figures is critical for progress in the Federal Capital Territory, no matter the party affiliations involved.

He remarked that substantial advancements in the FCT can only be achieved when leaders collaborate for the benefit of the citizens and the nation overall.

In his own words, “Currently, Wike is the FCT Minister. I doubt he will be the FCT Minister by 2027; the NDC is the next significant factor, Peter Obi is on his way.”
