Imota LCDA Staff Emerge Lagos Creativity, Brand Ambassadors

Two members of staff of Imota Local Council Development Area have been nominated as Ambassadors of Creativity and Innovation in Lagos State following the successful completion of a capacity-building programme organized by the Lagos State Office of Transformation, Creativity and Innovation (OTCI).

The nominees: Mr. Dairo Oluwole, a Principal Computer Assistant in the ICT Department, and Comrade Olatayo Taiwo Hassan, Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), Imota LCDA Branch, earned the recognition through their outstanding participation, commitment, and innovative contributions during the intensive training programme.

The capacity-building initiative was designed to equip public servants with modern skills in creativity, innovation, service improvement, and transformational leadership aimed at enhancing efficiency, productivity, and quality service delivery across the Lagos State Public Service.

Reacting to the development, the Executive Chairman of Imota LCDA, Hon. Benson Sunday Ayodele, congratulated the nominees on the well-deserved recognition, describing the honour as a testament to their dedication, professionalism, and commitment to excellence in public service.

Hon. Benson commended the officers for demonstrating outstanding creativity, diligence, and leadership throughout the training, noting that their nomination has brought pride not only to Imota LCDA but also serves as an inspiration to other members of staff to continually strive for excellence and innovation in their respective duties.

The Council Chairman reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to staff development through continuous capacity building, training, and empowerment programmes, stressing that a well-equipped workforce remains essential to achieving efficient governance and improved service delivery to residents of the council area.

Speaking after receiving the nomination, the beneficiaries expressed appreciation to the Lagos State Office of Transformation, Creativity and Innovation for the opportunity to participate in the programme. They also thanked Hon. Benson for creating an enabling environment that encourages professional development and innovation among council staff.

The nomination of the two officers further reflects the growing reputation of Imota LCDA as a council committed to excellence, innovation, and human capital development, while reinforcing the Lagos State Government’s resolve to build a dynamic, creative, and result-oriented public service capable of meeting the evolving needs of the people.
