Tension has gripped Ekiti State following the abduction of the Vice Chairman of Ilejemeje Local Government Area, Mrs. Grace Ogunleye, by suspected gunmen along the Ipere–Iludun Ekiti road.
The incident reportedly occurred on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, when the council official was ambushed while returning from official engagements.
Sources said Mrs. Ogunleye had earlier visited the Ilejemeje Local Government Secretariat before heading towards Ido Ekiti when the attack happened…....>>>
