Speaking during a recent address, Ayodele reiterated his earlier stance that Obi would not remain within the African Democratic Congress. “I told you Obi will leave ADC. I told you he will leave and Obi cannot be president,” he said.
The cleric further suggested that Obi’s political movements, including any potential alliances, would not be sufficient to secure victory without a broader coalition. Referring to possible alignments involving Rabiu Kwankwaso, Ayodele dismissed their chances if they fail to unite with other forces.
“Let him and Kwankwaso go anywhere. Only a united force can remove Tinubu,” he stated, emphasizing the need for a consolidated opposition front.
Ayodele also commented on the political strength of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, describing him as a formidable figure in both strategy and resilience.
“Tinubu is extremely stubborn, and nobody is as stubborn as him among them,” he said. “He is ready for them spiritually, technically, psychologically.”
