Businessman and social commentator, Chidi Mike, has stirred reactions online after speaking on his relationship with nightlife entrepreneur Obi Cubana and socialite Cubana ChiefPriest, as well as the current political situation in Nigeria.
According to Chidi Mike, his relationship with Obi Cubana and Cubana ChiefPriest is like that of “three brothers from the same parents.” However, he revealed that he recently cautioned them over their involvement in the “City Boy” political movement, insisting that Nigerians are currently suffering and need leaders who understand their struggles.
“As for me, I love my fellow human beings more than money,” he said, adding that many Igbo politicians and public figures are afraid to speak up because of political interests and positions.
Chidi Mike also criticised actor-turned-politician Kenneth Okonkwo, describing him as a distraction in the country’s political space. Defending Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate, Peter Obi, he argued that Nigerians should not expect Obi to suddenly change his personality or principles because of politics.
“Peter can’t be a black man today and you expect him to become a white man tomorrow,” he stated.
He further declared that the Obi-Kwankwaso alliance under the NDC remains the only political force capable of rescuing Nigeria from its current challenges.
