A lady has shared an emotional reflection on the struggles many single mothers face, especially when they see their daughters end up in similar situations they once prayed against.
In a heartfelt statement circulating online, the woman spoke about the sacrifices many single mothers make while raising their children alone after being abandoned by irresponsible partners.
She described how many mothers work tirelessly through different businesses and hardships just to provide a better future for their children.
According to her, one of the most painful experiences is watching a daughter grow up only to later become a single mother herself, despite all the prayers and efforts made to prevent such a situation.
She also noted the emotional and financial burden older mothers sometimes face when they are once again forced to help care for grandchildren because their daughters are struggling with absent or irresponsible partners.

“Nobody talks about the pain of being a single mother. All you envision for your female child is a better life they they do not follow the footsteps you followed, but you later still see them end up being another single mother again. You still see them getting pregnant for wayw@rd men. Something you prayed against. All your life you have been struggling to feed this children because of the wayw@rdness of their father that he couldn’t be in the children’s life. You were the one to hawk things. Our mothers sold lives to take care of us. They did so many businesses. Hoping that that child doesn’t end up following your footsteps, but that child ends up being a single mother in your own house and you will now be the one again to start looking for money to take care of….”
