Departing Atletico Madrid forward, Antoine Griezmann, has apologized to fans for joining Barcelona at a point in his career.
Griezmann on Sunday, played his last game for the Rojiblancos.
The Frenchman is expected to sign for Orlando City in the MLS after 10 years with Atletico.
But the 35-year-old had left to join Barcelona in 2019 and was not part of the team that won the LaLiga crown in 2021.
“I know many of you have (forgiven me), but some still haven’t, so I apologise again,” Griezmann said.
“I didn’t realise how much love I had here, I was very young, and well, I made a mistake.
“I reconsidered and we did everything to come back here and enjoy it again.”
