Michael Carrick will remain in charge of Manchester United next season after guiding the Red Devils to a third-placed finish in the Premier League.
“We are delighted to announce Michael Carrick will continue as our head coach, having signed a new contract,” United said in a statement on Friday.
Carrick returned to United as head coach in January and was awarded the Premier League Manager of the Month award after victories against Manchester City and Arsenal in his first two games in charge.
