“Most Desperate Politician”- Davido Drags Oyetola On Social Media Over Osun Politics

Famous Nigerian singer Davido has publicly criticized the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Gboyega Oyetola, over what he described as an alleged political plan he considers “embarrassing.”

In a post shared early Tuesday on X (formerly Twitter), Davido directly mentioned Oyetola and accused him of being overly desperate in his political approach, insisting that the alleged plan would not succeed.

According to the singer, “The most desperate politician in the world is @GboyegaOyetola very embarrassing. Oyetola your plan no go work.”

Although Davido did not provide further details about the alleged plan, the comments come amid rising political tension in Osun State ahead of the upcoming governorship election scheduled for August 15, 2026.

The development also follows Davido’s recent announcement that he would temporarily pause his music career for two months to actively support the re-election campaign of his uncle and Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke.

In other news… Popular internet sensations, Happie Boys, are once again making headlines after receiving two brand new bikes from content creator Gossipmill and his associate, De Kings.

The duo, who became famous after quitting their security jobs to dance on duty, were invited over and surprised with the gifts in a moment that has now gone viral online.

Happie Boys first gained public attention in 2022 after videos of them dancing while working as security guards surfaced online. Their energetic performances earned them admiration from many Nigerians and eventually attracted the support of the General Overseer of Omega Power Ministries (OPM), Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere.

The clergyman sponsored the boys to study in Cyprus, turning their story into a celebrated “grass to grace” moment.

However, things later took a dramatic turn after disagreements emerged between the duo and the pastor. The boys publicly complained about hardship abroad and accused the church of abandoning them. The controversy escalated online, leading to backlash from many Nigerians.

The situation reportedly worsened until the boys were eventually deported back to Nigeria, sparking conversations online about fame, gratitude and missed opportunities.

Now back in the spotlight, the duo received fresh support after Gossipmill and De Kings gifted them two new motorcycles.

The gesture triggered mixed reactions on social media, with many Nigerians questioning whether the bikes would truly help the boys rebuild their lives.
