Hardship is biting deeper across Nigeria as the price of cooking gas jumps again, leaving millions of households struggling to cope.

Reports show that Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG), commonly used as cooking gas, has risen sharply to between N1,400 and N1,500 per kilogram, pushing the cost of a 12.5kg cylinder to about N17,500 in some locations.

The situation has triggered fresh outrage and frustration among citizens already battling rising food prices, fuel costs, and worsening economic conditions.
