A Nigerian woman has sparked widespread reactions online after sharing a shocking encounter involving a pastor who allegedly accused her of being married to another man while she was out with her husband.
The woman narrated the incident on X, formerly known as Twitter, explaining that the encounter happened while she was six months pregnant with her second child.
According to her, she and her husband had gone to a restaurant for a quiet evening together before meeting a cleric outside the premises.
The woman said the pastor, who was dressed in a clerical collar and holding a Bible, suddenly confronted her husband and warned him to stay away from her.
Sharing her experience, she wrote, “A pastor told my husband to leave me because I’m another man’s wife.”
She explained that the cleric looked directly at her husband and declared, “Why are you with another man’s wife? Leave this woman alone.”
Confused by the statement, her husband reportedly asked the pastor to explain what he meant.
The pastor then pointed at her pregnancy and claimed it was evidence that she already belonged to another man.
According to the woman, the pastor said, “Don’t you see that she and her husband are expecting their first baby?”
Her husband reportedly burst into laughter after hearing the statement because the pregnancy was actually their second child together.
The woman said the strange encounter became even more surprising after they walked outside and noticed the pastor’s vehicle parked nearby with the name of his church boldly displayed on it.
