Rajnath Singh chairs fifth IGoM meeting to review risks to India’s energy supply and essential commodities from the West Asia conflict, urges public to stay calm.

The discussions focused on reviewing “the existing risks to energy supply chains and domestic availability of essential commodities in the wake of the conflict in West Asia,” Singh said in a post on X (formerly Twitter).
He stated that the government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, had been working to ensure uninterrupted supplies of essential goods across the country.
“I urge the people to remain calm and avoid any kind of panic as the government is taking concrete steps to prevent shortages or disruptions in supply chains,” Singh added.
The 5th meeting of IGoM was held today to review the existing risks to energy supply chains and domestic availability of essential commodities in the wake of the conflict in West Asia.
