A video of the incident went viral, showing the man angrily tackling the lady while a crowd tried to break them apart. The man claimed that he had unprotected sex with the woman during a New Year’s carnival in their area. Later, he found out he had contracted an STD, which he believes came from her.
The man said he spent 65,000 naira on treatment for the infection. He got lucky when he saw the woman and her father in a tricycle at the same place where they had met during the carnival.
Seizing the opportunity, he confronted the lady and demanded that she pay him back the 65,000 naira he spent on his treatment.
