Terrorists Strike Yobe Training School, 17 Police Trainees Killed

Suspected Islamist insurgents attacked the Nigerian Army Special Forces School in Buni Yadi, Yobe State, killing at least 17 police officers undergoing advanced tactical and counter-terrorism training. The coordinated overnight assault occurred in the early hours of May 8 at about 1:15 a.m.
