Gwamnishu, who first shared the viral video of the incident, revealed that the shooting occurred on Sunday, contrary to the timeline when it surfaced online. .... According to the activist, he delayed posting the footage until he verified its authenticity to ensure it was not an old recording. He further claimed that the .... officer acted on instructions, stating that individuals at the park had contacted the Area Commander in Delta State, Aliyu Shaba, before the incident.
Gwamnishu called on the Inspector General of Police to investigate the matter thoroughly, including the alleged involvement of senior officers.
He also alleged that the victim did not die at the .... initial scene of the shooting but was later taken to a police station where he was shot again before eventually dying. The activist added that the body of the deceased has not been presented to him, raising further concerns about the handling of the case.
