Trump: Benjamin Netanyahu Will Do Whatever I Want Him To Do On Iran, I’m In No Hurry To Reach Deal

US President Donald Trump has said he is not rushing to secure a diplomatic agreement with Iran, while also insisting that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu would follow his lead regarding any possible military action against Tehran.…....

Speaking to reporters before boarding Air Force One on Wednesday, Trump dismissed concerns that time pressure or domestic politics were forcing him toward a quick deal with Iran.

He stated that he was in “no hurry” and preferred a solution that would avoid a wider war and reduce casualties.

According to Times of Israel, Trump was asked about his recent discussions with Netanyahu concerning the possibility of an Israeli strike on Iran’s nuclear or military infrastructure.

In response, he said Netanyahu would “do whatever I want him to do,” describing the Israeli leader as “a very good man” and praising his leadership during wartime.

The remarks come amid growing international tension over Iran’s regional activities and fears of a renewed military confrontation involving Israel, the United States, and Iran-backed groups across the Middle East.

Trump also referred to the strategic importance of the Strait of Hormuz, suggesting that any future understanding with Iran would need to ensure the key shipping route remains open.

When questioned about whether he would support a limited agreement focused mainly on reopening the strait and maintaining a ceasefire, Trump again emphasized patience, saying he was willing to wait rather than rush into an arrangement.

He argued that avoiding a large-scale conflict was more important than meeting political deadlines ahead of upcoming US midterm elections.

Trump recently revealed that he canceled a planned military strike earlier this week, while continuing to leave open the possibility of future action if diplomatic efforts fail.
