President Trump told PBS News there is a “very good chance” the war with Iran could end, adding that a deal could possibly be reached before his trip to China next week.
• Trump said a proposed agreement could include Iran exporting its highly enriched uranium to the United States and pledging not to operate underground nuclear facilities.
• He said it was “unlikely” he would send Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner to the talks, adding that “maybe for the final meeting, we’ll have a signing someplace.”
• Trump warned that “if they agree, it’s over, and if they don’t agree, we bomb,” while also saying sanctions on Iran could be eased if a deal is reached.
