In a recent video shared on Facebook, Elijah Ayodele, the leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, advised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to pay urgent attention to what he described as possible international issues that could pose challenges for his administration.…....
While addressing his followers in the video message, Ayodele claimed that certain documents from the United States could allegedly be used against the Nigerian president if the matter is not handled carefully and promptly.
He said, “Tinubu should step to it urgently. There’s a documentation that America want to use against him.”
The cleric, however, did not explain the exact nature of the alleged documents or provide specific details about how they could affect the President politically or diplomatically.
Ayodele stressed that the Nigerian government should be cautious in its international engagements and diplomatic dealings, warning that sensitive global issues could create distractions for the administration if not properly managed.
According to him, foreign countries are closely monitoring developments in Nigeria, making it important for the government to avoid actions that could expose the country to additional pressure from the international community.
He also suggested that political opponents might attempt to take advantage of any controversy linked to the alleged issue in order to weaken the administration politically.
“They will want to use it politically and create confusion around the presidency,” Ayodele stated.
The cleric further urged the President to remain focused and proactive, adding that wisdom and careful decision-making would be necessary to navigate future political and diplomatic challenges.
Ayodele explained that his comments were intended as a warning rather than an attempt to create fear or tension. He also called on Nigerians to continue praying for the country and its leaders amid ongoing economic and political difficulties.
The presidency has not officially responded to the cleric’s remarks as public discussions continue regarding Nigeria’s political climate, economic reforms, and foreign relations under Tinubu’s administration.
