“We are still searching. Security agencies are still on it, and they have promised the safe return of the victims. Since yesterday, the family has been unsettled. The victim’s husband, who is not in Nigeria, is deeply worried, but he believes that security agencies in Nigeria are capable of securing the release of his wife and children,” Awogboro said.

He noted that the abductors had yet to make any contact with the family.

Awogboro, however, appealed to the police and other security agencies to intensify efforts to ensure the victims are rescued unharmed and reunited with their family as soon as possible.

The abduction has heightened concerns over the growing spate of kidnappings and insecurity in parts of Oyo State, with residents calling for stronger security measures to protect lives and property.
