Agbaje Honours Kami-J at Send-forth Ceremony 

The Chairman of Ayobo-Ipaja Local Council Development Area, Hon. (Dr.) Abiodun Lukmon Agbaje, has paid glowing tribute to Mrs. Motunrayo Mariam Williams-Johnson during a send-forth ceremony organized in her honour following her transfer to another Local Government after years of dedicated service.

Mrs. Williams-Johnson, fondly known as ‘Kami-J’, served in the Education Department of Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA, where she distinguished herself through commitment, professionalism, and unwavering dedication to the advancement of education within the council area.

Speaking at the event, Hon. Agbaje described Mrs. Williams-Johnson as a positive, productive, and result-oriented officer whose contributions significantly impacted the growth and development of the education sector in Ayobo-Ipaja.

According to the Chairman, Kami-J exemplifies the qualities of an outstanding public servant. He noted that she remained focused, diligent, dependable, and consistently committed to progress throughout her years of service, adding that her achievements and contributions to educational development would remain a lasting legacy.

Hon. Agbaje further commended her dedication to duty and wished her greater accomplishments, new opportunities, and continued success in her new assignment, assuring her that her service to Ayobo-Ipaja would always be remembered and appreciated.

The ceremony was attended by several dignitaries and stakeholders, including the Secretary to the Local Government, Hon. Ahmad Adeyinka Yusuf; the Supervisor for Education, Mrs. Adekanye Olufunke; the Head of Department, Education Department; staff members of the Education Department; Head Teachers of Public Primary Schools across Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA; as well as friends and family members.

In her response, Mrs. Williams-Johnson expressed appreciation to the Chairman, the management team, and her colleagues for the honour accorded her. She thanked them for their support throughout her years of service and encouraged staff members to remain committed to excellence, professionalism, and effective service delivery.

Kami-J was recently transferred to Lagos Island Local Government during a routine transfer exercise conducted by the Lagos State Government via the state Local Government Service Commission. She has since resumed at her new place of work.
