Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe has faced criticism over her attendance at designer Luminee’s baby shower.
Reports from online revealed that the well-known fashion designer surprised many on Monday after announcing the arrival of her baby boy with actor Baba Ijesha.
Shortly after the announcement, videos from her baby shower began circulating online. It was gathered that Luminee was given a surprise baby shower by Eniola Ajao and Mercy Aigbe, both described as some of her major clients.
However, Mercy Aigbe’s presence at the event has sparked backlash on social media, with many Twitter users expressing disappointment due to Baba Ijesha’s past controversy.
One user, identified as Memnefer, openly criticized Aigbe for attending the celebration.
He tweeted,
“You really can’t predict the internet, to be honest. One minute, everything is quiet; the next, there is chaos that leaves you in shock.
Mercy Aigbe actually went to Luminee’s baby shower. I’m disappointed”.
