The English Football Association on Friday, 19 June, 2026 released the 2026/27 Premier League season schedule with all 380 fixtures set to run from Friday, August 21, 2026, through the campaign.
The FA, which released the fixtures through its official website on Friday, 19 June, 2026, said kick-off times remain standard, with weekend and Bank Holiday matches scheduled for 15:00 UK time, while midweek games will typically begin at 20:00 unless otherwise stated.
“All fixtures remain subject to change,” a release on the EPL website read on Friday.
According to the fixtures, the defending champion Arsenal will kick- start the match week one hosting newly promoted Coventry at the Emirates on Friday, 21 August, 2026.
Others play on Saturday and Sunday with the week ending Monday when Fulham hosts Chelsea at the Craven Cottage.
The season gets underway shortly after the traditional curtain-raiser, with the 2026 FA Community Shield scheduled for Sunday, 16 August 2026, when Premier League champions Arsenal meet FA Cup winners Manchester City at 3pm.
Clubs competing in Europe will again have a tightly packed calendar, with nine Premier League sides involved across continental competitions — five in the UEFA Champions League, three in the Europa League, and one in the Conference League.
Their midweek commitments are expected to influence scheduling across multiple weekends throughout the season.
The league has also noted that Premier League fixtures may be adjusted depending on clubs’ progress in the FA Cup, particularly in the later rounds.
The FA Cup semi-finals and final are scheduled on weekends that also feature Premier League rounds, adding further potential for calendar reshuffling as the season develops.
