The beloved couple was reportedly returning from a joyous child dedication ceremony when the accident occurred, ending their lives in an instant.
“Our hearts are heavy as we mourn the tragic passing of Pastor David Melavi of Bukholi Baptist Church and his lovely wife, Rebecca Melavi.
On Wednesday evening, the couple was involved in a fatal accident at Khalumuli Junction in Sitikho when their motorcycle collided with a tractor transporting sugarcane. They were on their way back to Matisi after attending a beautiful child dedication ceremony,” the post read.
