EU, FG Launch NJFP 2.0 Job Fair for Fellows to Meet Employers

The European Union (EU) and the Federal Government (FG) have launched the Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme (NJFP) 2.0 Abuja Job Fair, creating a platform for fellows to connect directly with employers and career opportunities.

The two-day job fair, scheduled for June 4 and 5, 2026, in Abuja, is part of efforts to strengthen youth employment and bridge the gap between skilled Nigerian talents and organisations searching for qualified professionals.

According to information released by the organisers, the NJFP 2.0 Abuja Job Fair will bring together hundreds of fellows and more than 200 companies expected to conduct interviews, interact with talents, and explore recruitment opportunities during the event.

The organisers described the fair as an opportunity for fellows to “showcase your skills, make a lasting impression, and get placed.”

Participants were encouraged to come prepared with their CVs, speak confidently, and present themselves professionally during interactions with employers and recruiters.

“The talent is in the room. Will they choose you?” one of the campaign messages for the event stated, while employers were also urged to “showcase your work culture, highlight growth opportunities, and attract top talent.”

The Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme, supported by the EU, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and the Federal Government, was designed to equip young Nigerian graduates with work experience, employability skills, and access to career opportunities across sectors.

Organisers also highlighted that fellows under the programme receive a monthly stipend of ₦150,000, while companies participating in the initiative can access trained talents at zero stipend cost.

The organisers said the Abuja Job Fair is expected to serve as a meeting point for employers looking to recruit skilled young professionals and fellows seeking placement opportunities after completing different stages of the programme.

Registration for the NJFP 2.0 Abuja Job Fair is currently ongoing through the official portal at https://events.njfp.ng/register/.
