Screen Reactions: Pixel devices are getting Screen Reactions, a feature that lets users record their screen and front camera simultaneously, without switching apps. It works as a built-in green screen overlay, useful for reaction videos and tutorials. To enable it, swipe down twice to access Quick Settings, tap the screen recording icon and toggle on “Show selfie camera.” The selfie feed can be repositioned and resized during recording.

Call features: Custom Greetings is being added to the existing Take a Message feature, allowing users to record a personalised outgoing audio message. When the user is unavailable, the caller hears this message and their response is transcribed in real time. Manual Call Screen — which asks unknown callers to state their name and reason for calling via Google’s Call Assist — is now available in India.

Emergency Sharing: Google is linking Emergency Sharing with its three core Emergency Detection features: Car Crash Detection, Fall Detection and Loss of Pulse Detection. When any of these triggers are activated, the device will call emergency services and notify pre-selected emergency contacts simultaneously. Users can choose which contacts are notified per detection type in the device settings.
