She hopes to save at least KSh 50,000 and give the money to her mother so she can establish a small business and better support the family’s needs.

“My boss brings the fruits, we blend them and make juice. Once the juice is ready, we hawk it on the streets. I earn KSh 300 per day.

“I live with my mum. It’s just the two of us because my dad passed away. My mum mostly washes people’s clothes to earn a living. My plan is to save KSh 50,000 so that my mum can start a business with it,” she said.

When asked what she would need to start her own fresh juice business, Dorice said she wished to have a fridge and a blender.
