Gov Bala Mohammed Pays Condolence Visit to Katagum Emirate Over Death of ex-Dep Gov

Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, has paid a condolence visit to the Emir of Katagum, Alhaji Umar Farouk Umar, following the death of former Deputy Governor of the state and Wazirin Katagum, Architect Audu Sule Katagum, as well as to sympathize with other families who recently lost loved ones in Azare town.

Speaking during the visit at the Emirs palace in Azare Weekend, Governor Bala Mohammed described late Architect Audu Sule Katagum as an accomplished administrator, patriotic leader, and respected elder statesman whose immense contributions to the development of Bauchi State and Nigeria would remain indelible.

The Governor said the deceased devoted his life to selfless public service through the various positions he held, noting that his commitment, wisdom, and leadership left a lasting impact on the growth and progress of the state and the nation at large.

Senator Bala Mohammed also extended his condolences to the bereaved families and prayed Almighty Allah to forgive the shortcomings of the deceased and all those who recently passed away, admit them into Aljannatul Firdaus, and grant their families the fortitude to bear the painful losses.

Responding on behalf of the Katagum Emirate, the Emir of Katagum, Alhaji Umar Farouk Umar II, expressed profound appreciation to Governor Bala Mohammed for personally leading the condolence visit, describing the gesture as a demonstration of compassion, respect, and solidarity with the Emirate and the bereaved families during their moment of grief.

The Emir prayed for Allah to continue to guide and strengthen Governor Bala Mohammed in the service of Bauchi State and thanked him for standing with the people of Katagum in their time of mourning.
