Residents of a Lagos community were thrown into confusion yesterday after a young lady allegedly ran out of her boyfriend’s apartment naked while crying for help and accusing him of attempting to use her for ritual purposes. click read original at the top to watch the video involved.
According to eyewitnesses, the frightened lady rushed into the street in panic, drawing the attention of people living around the area. She later narrated that her boyfriend, whom she described as a suspected “Yahoo boy,” allegedly tried to perform a strange ritual on her while she pretended to be asleep.

Speaking to residents after escaping, the lady claimed that the man brought out a native pot and a native egg during the night and started passing them around her head while repeatedly calling her name.
According to her:
He thought I was sleeping. He carried a native pot and egg and started passing them around my head while calling my name. After that, he entered the toilet and was saying strange things. That was when I quietly took the key and escaped. I didn’t even think about wearing clothes because I wanted to save my life first.
The shocking incident reportedly caused serious panic in the neighborhood as residents gathered around to protect and comfort the lady while she explained what happened.
The matter was later reported to the police. However, by the time officers arrived at the apartment to arrest the suspect, he had reportedly fled and could not be found.
Authorities are yet to officially confirm the ritual allegations, but investigations are said to be ongoing.
