In a recent interview shared by the official YouTube channel of Arise TV on Sunday, May 31, 2026, Factional Labour Party (LP) National Vice Chairman, South West, Dr. Abayomi Arabambi, intensified his criticism of former presidential candidate Peter Obi, raising fresh concerns about integrity and accountability within the opposition.
He stated during the interview that, “Obi cannot be president of Nigeria if we do not want corruption to be legalized in this country.” Arabambi alleged that Obi’s political conduct within the Labour Party raises serious questions about his suitability for national leadership.
