At just 21 years old, Chevaan Abrahams did something extraordinary; he helped a woman deliver a baby, and now he is well on his way to becoming a paramedic.

Chevaan had just reported to work as a night shift petrol attendant at a Shell garage in Kuils River, Cape Town, when a pregnant woman and her boyfriend arrived at the station in active labour.

“In a moment that could have overwhelmed anyone, Chevaan stayed calm, stepped forward, and helped deliver a healthy baby boy before paramedics arrived,” said Buckabuddy fundraising channel.

What makes this story even more powerful and a pleasant coincidence is that Chevaan has long dreamed of becoming a paramedic.

A campaign has been created on behalf of @CoolStoryBru_ZA, who is in contact with Chevaan Abrahams, to help raise funds that can support Chevaan’s journey toward becoming a qualified paramedic. Chevaan Abrahams was working as a petrol attendant when an ordinary night shift became a life-changing moment.
