The Labour Party’s presidential candidate in the 2023 election, Peter Obi, has reacted strongly to allegations made by party figure Arabambi, who accused him of mismanaging campaign donations during the last election.
Speaking during an interview with Rufai Oseni, Obi dismissed the claims and demanded proof, insisting that no funds were misused.
“If the so-called Arabambi can provide evidence from any account showing that even 1 percent of what he alleged is missing, I will stop campaigning for the 2027 election. In fact, I may add him to the lawsuit so he can come to court and provide the evidence, just that he don’t have address.”
The statement has since generated widespread debate online, with supporters and critics weighing in on the ongoing political tensions within the Labour Party.
