Nollywood actress Uche Elendu has lectured those questioning how Baba Ijesha welcomed a child with celebrity designer, Luminee, just seven months after his prison release.
It is no longer news that the celebrity designer has welcomed her first child with disgraced actor, Baba Ijesha.
Elendu educated them that there is something called preterm birth. She admonished Nigerians to face the hardships in the country, noting that food is expensive, children and families are in agony, gas is 28,000 per cylinder, and more.
She said she wished the baby were a girl and congratulated the couple on their bundle of joy.
“Lol. There’s something called preterm birth. Yea! Let’s face what’s facing us. A basket of tomatoes is 120k, children and families are in agony and live in fear, and gas is 28k per cylinder.
I just wish the baby were a bouncing baby girl.
Congratulations and welcome to the world, baby. God bless your home”.
Recall that in 2021, comedienne Princess accused Ijesha of defiling her 14-year-old ward. In a video that was made available online, the actress accused Baba Ijesha of molesting her daughter without consent.
In 2022, Baba Ijesha had bagged 5 years imprisonment for raping comedienne, Princess’s 14 years old daughter.
On Friday, November 15th, 2025, the famous actor was released from prison, after spending over three years in custody over alleged sexual assault.
Speaking out, Baba Ijesha, in an interview with Biola, had addressed his rape allegations, maintaining that he isn’t a pedophile nor a rapist. He said Princess knows she has betrayed everyone she has ever been friends with, and expressed how hurt he was by how Iyabo Ojo turned on him. He noted that he had taken care of her kids when they were younger, yet she doubted him.
