“When I came to you, I remember it was during the same occasion we are having today. I met one of the Members of the County Assembly, and he told me we were not supposed to be there. I sat alone and could not find anyone to help me. I had no financial support for my studies.
When I came here, I remember running to you, even though no one seemed to notice me. I held your hand and pleaded with you to grant me a full scholarship so that I could complete my Diploma in Accounting at Thika Technical. Governor, you gave me that opportunity, and I am truly grateful. Now, I ask that this support does not end there,” she said.

Muthoni added that after completing her diploma, she would be joining KCA University in September to pursue a degree and continue with her CPA studies.
She appealed to the governor to support her through the final stage of her academic journey, saying she had nowhere else to turn for assistance.
“People of Kiambu, continue supporting the governor, and I promise that God will never depart from us if we give him our full support. Thank you, and may God bless you,” she added.
