Bago Presents Vehicles To 25 Council Vice Chairmen

Niger State Governor Umaru Bago has presented vehicles to the vice chairmen of all 25 Local Government Councils in the state.

The governor presented the vehicles at the Government House in Minna, describing the gesture as part of his administration’s fulfilment of its promise to support local government officials in discharging their responsibilities.

Bago said the vehicles are expected to enhance the effective and efficient performance of the Vice Chairmen’s official duties.

He urged the beneficiaries to make judicious use of the vehicles and remain committed to delivering proactive services that would contribute to the state’s overall development.

Governor Bago also reiterated his administration’s commitment to the welfare and empowerment of women, assuring that the government would continue to support initiatives aimed at improving their well-being.

Responding on behalf of the beneficiaries, Christiana Alkali, who is the vice-chairman of the Munya Local Government Council and Legal Adviser to the Niger State Vice Chairmen’s Forum, thanked Bago for the gesture.

She reaffirmed the Vice Chairmen’s support for the administration and pledged their commitment to the actualisation of the New Niger Agenda.
