Popular Nigerian TikTok personality, Peller, has sparked reactions online after making a bold statement about his upcoming wedding to fellow content creator, Jarvis.
The social media sensation claimed that August 1, the date of their wedding, would become a memorable day, expressing his wish for the entire country to shut down in celebration of their union.
According to Peller, he wished there was a way he could pay for a public holiday that would allow everyone to stay home and celebrate the couple’s special moment.
“Everywhere will shut down on the 1st of August. I wish there were somewhere I could go and pay for a public holiday so everyone could be at home and celebrate Peller and Jarvis,” he said.
Speaking further about his plans for the wedding, Peller revealed his desire to purchase a house in Ikoyi, Lagos, as a wedding gift. However, he explained that concerns over flooding in the area have made him consider buying a property in the United Kingdom instead.
“I want to buy a house in Ikoyi as a gift for my wedding, but because of the flood I’ll just get the house in the UK,” he added.
