Nigerian content creators, Peller, and his fiancée, Jarvis, have stirred reactions online after revealing the strict oath they made to each other against infidelity during a recent podcast appearance.
When Daddy Freeze asked Jarvis whether Peller had ever cheated on her, she simply replied no. Peller also dismissed the idea, questioning why he would cheat on her, insisting he could never do such a thing.
Jarvis went on to explain that the two of them had taken an oath never to be unfaithful to each other, stating, “If you cheat, you d+e. It’s the rule of the relationship.”
Asked what she meant by that, she clarified that she was referring to the consequences of breaking the oath, explaining that things would not go well for whoever broke it and that everything would crumble given their commitment to each other.
She added that since they pray together and have committed their hearts to Jesus with God involved in their relationship, betraying that bond would not go unnoticed, stressing that she would swear to that effect on his behalf.
The conversation then turned to whether the couple had entered into a blood covenant.
Peller admitted that he had once suggested they do so after coming across similar videos online, explaining that he had proposed cutting themselves with a knife after seeing people do it on social media, believing it would prevent either of them from cheating and that something would happen to whoever broke the pact.
He said Jarvis initially refused, dismissing the idea as nonsense.
Jarvis, however, clarified that they never went through with the idea, stating that the only covenant they hold is with God, and that such practices are not something they should engage in.
She maintained that the reassurance and commitment between them remain solid, explaining that is why she insisted he would face consequences, since the oath they had already sworn would affect them regardless.
She added that because they love each other and their commitment is genuine, there is no reason for infidelity to arise, and that they simply pray for God’s grace to keep it that way.
