Super Eagles striker Tolu Arokodare has been left out of Wolverhampton Wanderers‘ pre-season squad for their training camp in Portugal, with growing speculation linking him with a move away from the Premier League club.
The Nigerian forward was not included in the travelling party as Wolves continue preparations for the 2026/27 season, while interest in the 25-year-old continues to gather momentum during the summer transfer window.
His absence has raised further questions about his future, although the club has not officially explained the decision.
Fiorentina remain interested
Italian Serie A side Fiorentina are among the clubs pursuing Arokodare after reportedly failing with an initial loan offer.

According to Sky Sports, Wolves have rejected loan proposals from both Fiorentina and Turkish side Trabzonspor.
Despite the setback, Fiorentina are expected to return with an improved offer as they continue their search for attacking reinforcements ahead of the new campaign.
Trabzonspor’s interest appears to have cooled after reports indicated that Arokodare is not keen on a move to the Turkish club.
Several other European teams are also monitoring the striker’s situation as the transfer window progresses.
Future remains uncertain
Arokodare joined Wolves after an impressive spell with Belgian side Genk, where his goalscoring performances earned him a place in the Super Eagles squad and attracted interest from clubs across Europe.
His omission from the Portugal training camp has intensified speculation that Wolves could be open to negotiating a transfer before the new season begins.
