A Nigerian lady has shared a chilling experience from a night journey between Abuja and Enugu, claiming she and a commercial driver unknowingly travelled with a mysterious seventh passenger believed to be a ghost.
In a viral video, she explained that she boarded the bus after receiving confirmation that she had been called to the Nigerian Bar and needed to arrive in Enugu early the next morning.
According to her, there were six passengers and one driver, but their journey became unsettling after police officers at multiple checkpoints insisted there were seven passengers in the vehicle.
Narrating the ordeal, she said:
“The first police officer stopped us and asked why we were seven passengers instead of six. We counted ourselves and realised we were only six, but the driver still had to pay before we continued.”
The lady claimed the same question was repeated at two other checkpoints, leaving everyone confused and frightened.
She further alleged that while trying to understand what was happening, she looked into the driver’s rearview mirror and briefly saw a man dressed in white seated at the back of the vehicle.
“When we got to Enugu around 5 a.m., the driver asked if anyone saw what he saw. I told him I saw a man wearing white in the mirror. He said he saw the same thing and realised that was the person the police officers had been counting,” she added:
The story has generated mixed reactions online, with some claiming to have experienced similar incidents, while others dismissed it as fiction.
