Nigerian comedian Okey Bakassi has raised alarm over an alleged theft incident that occurred during a football game in Ikoyi, Lagos.

According to Bakassi, a young man joined their game uninvited before allegedly stealing multiple mobile phones belonging to participants.

“How a young guy joined our football game in Ikoyi yesterday evening and then proceeded to steal 8 phones before vanishing. The phones belongs to top business men who need them for important contacts. A ₦5M reward has been placed for any information leading to his arrest.”

The incident has reportedly caused concern among the victims, many of whom are said to be business professionals relying on their devices for critical communication and operations.

Bakassi further disclosed that a ₦5 million reward has been offered to anyone who can provide useful information that could lead to the suspect’s arrest.
